Hey Reader ,
Something happened this week that hasn't happened, well, ever...
I've had the great pleasure of having the house to myself to do whatever it is that I want or need to do during the day.
Can you say MAMA NEEDED A BREAK?!?
See, last Saturday, my son flew to Phoenix with his dad to spend two weeks with his grandparents Out West. At first, there was anxiety on my end, and then there was serenity.
And now, I'm just working like a madwoman to get things done before he gets back lol.
When I say that this house has been eerily quiet in a way that it never has been, I kid you not...pun intended!
See, I bought this house when I was 6 months pregnant, and so we were barely unpacked and settled all the way into it when the little one was born in 2020. From the day we brought him home from the hospital until he left last Saturday, I've not slept a night in this house without him here.
Sure, I've traveled for work or events, even gone away for a few days at a time without him, here and there, just for fun. But never has HE been overnight someplace and I was here at home.
Of course, I miss the sounds of 8-year old energy bouncing off the walls, but I am overjoyed that he's where he is with who he's with.
As you may have guessed, I am grateful to have 4 more days of this silence and stillness as a reminder of what life was like before I became somebody's mama.
And since this past week has been quite a productive time, I want you to know that I'm hard at work in preparation for something big.
So, my question to you is this...I'll drop a hint so there's not an open loop holding you in the wings...
Are you ready to learn how to sell children's books in bulk for this back-to-school season and beyond?
If you are, reply to this email with a simple answer, 'YES' will suffice, so I can know that this community I'm building is one that you want to join.
It's for you if you want access to sales training and AI tools to position you to land consistent opportunities to sell 50 or more books at least 2-3 times per month.
Is this something you need to grow your author business?
More to come,
Micaela
