What will you offer bulk buyers?
The Weekly 60-Minute Bulk Sales Challenge is in Week 2 and runs on Wednesdays for the next 12-weeks. You're invited, even if you missed last week.
Ok, Reader, you can sell books, and you can create offers. You can do one on its own, but when combined, the results are so much more powerful (and profitable).
The two are not mutually exclusive; however, because your author brand and children's books are likely the very reason you’re appealing to bulk buyers in the first place. So, it’s worth considering that a buyer saying yes to your books is just the beginning of them saying yes to what else you can bring into the mix.
With that in mind, do you offer anything to bulk buyers besides just books?
In real life, this is a dilemma you’ll face, if you haven’t already, so let me help you get ready for it. Let’s say you make the effort to establish the right connection, or you’re lucky enough to get a referral for an author visit through someone who already knows, likes, and trusts you. You’re given a chance to have a 30-minute phone call with a decision maker and they tell you that you’ll have a solid 75-90 minutes with their youth group of eager readers.
Now, you have an idea for the quantity of books that they’ll order, and can offer this decision maker a price that makes sense for their budget. But what else you can offer is a mystery…
Inside the Weekly 60-Minute Bulk Sales Challenge, you'll learn every step of what's involved with creating a system to secure bulk orders of your children's books.
You know full well, Reader, that your children’s book takes 10 minutes to read even if you go super slow and get audience engagement. Yet, it is conveyed by this decision maker that you’re expected to have something else in addition to books to excite and delight the group.
What do you have in place to fill the rest of that time you’ve been given?
What else will you bring or create space to do after your children’s book has been read?
To make it plain, if you aren’t sure, then you’re leaving value on the table. You should use that time to offer something that no one else can to entertain, enrich, and engage the kiddos in the room.
This is, combined with the price that you associate with the purchase of the bulk order, your offer. It needs to be unique to your children’s book themes in ways that only your creativity can do justice.
Well, if your honest answer to those questions above is that you're not sure what else to offer, or you've considered offering something in addition to children's books, but you're not sure how to pull it together, then you'll want to be live inside Week 2 of the 60-Minute Bulk Sales Challenge live tonight at 6:30 pm EST!
The founders rate is still in place, so it’s just $50 per year to join Children’s Book Marketing Lab for this and all the other sessions inside the challenge designed to help you create your bulk order system. And if you happen to get this email after we get started this evening, the replay will be inside the Classroom by tomorrow morning along with the Next Steps activity.
Want to know what I offer?
Inside tonight, though, you'll discover the mindset for what it takes to Create An Aligned Offer. Plus, I'll share behind the scenes of one of my offers (I have 3) to show you what this could look like for you.
And if that’s not enough to get you in gear, I’ll explain why my offer is what it is, give you exclusive access to an AI Assistant that can help you noodle over ideas and recommendations for what your offer should be, and prepare you to take readers' experiences beyond the book in ways that are authentic to your audience needs.
The evolution of your brand story depends on it, so come with your creativity in tow and let's get the ideas for your offer sketched out.
See you soon,
Micaela
